Quarterbacks and receivers lit up Camping World Stadium as the DR7 Florida Showcase exceeded expectations. Full recap and standout performers inside.
Camping World Stadium hosted one of the more competitive DR7 fields of the season, with skill-position matchups living up to the pregame hype from the opening pool games through the championship bracket. Route-running separation and quarterback decision-making under 7v7 tempo were the clearest evaluation differentiators scouts flagged on-site.
Three quarterbacks in particular put together multi-game bodies of work strong enough to be flagged for Road to the Crown advancement review, and a handful of defensive backs matched them rep-for-rep in coverage, which is unusual for a showcase this early in the calendar.
The Florida Showcase also served as a proving ground for several first-time DR7 participants, a reminder that the Pathway's exposure model rewards live performance over prior recruiting rankings.
