    AthleteEligibility

The official DRSPORTZ eligibility standard — who can compete, who cannot, and how it is enforced.

    Who Is Eligible

The athletes DRSPORTZ events are built for

Eligible youth, middle school and nonsenior high-school athletes through age 18, subject to verified date of birth, grade, graduation year and event-specific division requirements.

    Who Is Not Eligible

These athletes cannot register, join a roster, or participate

    • High school seniors
    • Grade 12 athletes
    • Athletes classified as seniors
    • Athletes older than 18 on the official cutoff date
    • Athletes with unresolved age or grade conflicts
    • Athletes who have not completed required verification and waiver steps

A high school senior is ineligible even when the athlete is 17 or 18 years old, playing in an 18U division, reclassified, or added to a younger roster.

    Age 18 Clarification

Being 18 is not automatically disqualifying — senior status is

An athlete may be exactly 18 and remain eligible only when the athlete is not a high school senior, is not in grade 12, is not classified as a senior and meets all other event requirements.

    How Eligibility Is Enforced

    System responsibilities

EdgePlay applies and enforces DRSPORTZ event eligibility, roster, waiver, payment, credential and check-in rules. EdgeID may provide verified identity information when integrated.

    No Team Admin Override

Eligibility rules apply to every team the same way

Team Admins cannot override senior status, the age limit or unresolved verification requirements.
