THE ROAD TO THE CROWN

THE ROAD TO THE CROWN is the flagship national event tour of DRSPORTZ. The official 2027 season runs January 16–17 in Houston through Crown Weekend, April 9–11 in Round Rock, TX. Division champions earn paid bids and division runners-up earn half-paid bids to The Crown National Championship. Athlete invitation opportunities are a separate track.
Where the Crown Is Earned
The ROAD TO THE CROWN is the foundation of the Crown Pathway — a live evaluation tour hosted nationwide during the competitive season. Team bid awards and athlete invitations follow separate processes; no athlete is required to follow a single sequence. High school seniors and athletes over 18 are not eligible.
Athletes are evaluated live by THE PLATFORM scouts at every stop. Individual evaluation does not require a team Crown bid. Performance, consistency, and competitiveness can lead to invite-based consideration for the Crown MVP Bowl, the DRIVE7BIGZ Rhino Bowl, and further athlete opportunities.

Dedication & Respect
DR7 events spotlight skill position athletes in competitive 7v7 environments. Focus areas include quarterbacks, receivers, defensive backs, and linebackers. Athletes receive live evaluation and direct pathway advancement opportunities.

DRIVE7BIGZ Trenches
No Line, No Shine
DRIVE7BIGZ puts the spotlight on offensive and defensive linemen. Because championships are won in the trenches, these athletes receive dedicated trench-specific evaluation and exposure.
