Athlete Waiver
The participation waiver every athlete (or their guardian) agrees to before competing.
1. Voluntary Participation
Participation in DRSPORTZ events is voluntary. The athlete, and the parent/guardian for a minor, acknowledge that athletic activity involves inherent risks (see Assumption of Risk).
2. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the participant (and their parent/guardian) agrees not to hold DRSPORTZ, its staff, partners, and venues liable for injuries or losses arising from ordinary participation in event activities, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
3. Fitness & Health
The participant confirms they are physically able to take part and will follow the instructions of event staff and officials. Anyone who feels unwell should stop and notify staff.
4. Agreement
A signed or electronically acknowledged waiver is required before competing. The binding waiver for a specific event is provided during registration or at check-in.
